Boston firefighters are more than twice as likely than civilian populations to receive a cancer diagnosis. 27 Boston firefighters under the age of 70 have lost their battle with cancer between 2012 and 2017.

All donations raised by Team Boston Fire go directly towards the PMC Team Boston Fire Fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and support a dedicated team of experts in their efforts to enhance cancer prevention and improve clinical outcomes for firefighters.
